Oh I understand what your saying. Finding a good B model man will probably be harder than fixing the truck lol. If you know of any over in east Tennessee between Knoxville and Chattanooga I could use there contact.

If you can get it to Memphis legally, I can drive it the rest of the way. $200 to drop off with wore out.

She purrs like a cat! All is great except I need to turn a little more fuel to it and adjust the wastegate for a little more manifold pressure, running about 25 now and want around 30 if I can get it. Just letting it break in a little before doing it. Don’t seem quite as strong as it was before with the new different injectors and can’t get the egt over 700 on a long hard uphill pull. Otherwise I’m super happy with it. 0 blow by and great oil pressure. Thanks for all the advise.
I can do the mechanical part but the knowledge of what combination of parts takes years to acquire.

Just read through this thread and my conclusion is that we should be paying a subscription for your knowledge! Really appreciate you explaining what makes these things run and why!

There is no break in period….. I’ve been told to run it like hell for the break in or the rings will not seat well.

I second what @LameMule said! I would have been lost without your knowledge @wore out. I have ran it like I stole it since I got it back together. Just wasn’t sure if I should give it a little time before turning more fuel and boost to it. Guess I’ll go ahead and get it done now! Thanks for the advise.
