    What are you doing with a 7FB pump on a 3ZJ….nothing about a 7FB pump will work on a 3ZJ with lots a work and lots of money

    Long story, 7e pump died, had no money thru this on it to go to work because it's what I had, it 7e was a 11° pump originally, this 7w was 21°, I've retarded timing to around 13-14° static, has 30% 4337 nozzles from Rochester bigger turbo 10r3787 cylinder packs, trucks far from right egts run cool but smokes around the clock makes around 40 psi boost 700 egt but is FAR FROM RIGHT @wore out

    @wore out doesn't haze at idle, but smokes pretty good when shifting out, lightly trails smoke on the boulevard not real good on power and fuel lol which I've seen you post on someone elses

    So what are you doing for the higher pop pressure of the 4337 nozzles?

    Money or not you’re gonna cost yourself more money than you realize.

    how do you know it’s retarded to 13-14 BTDC? An educated guess or a meter.

    also with the 7FB pump your running like 9 to 12 degrees advance so you can finish about 30 give or take a degree


    The 3ZJ starts at 11.5 or 10.3 or 9.5 but still wants to final out at around 30 give or take a degree. So can you see why what you’re doing is not gonna work long? Because it will bolt on doesn’t mean you should.
