If I’m right that’s gonna be your cab accessory relay. But I want to see it before handing out bad electrical advice
Oxbow and mile marker 27 Thank this. -
I just bought this truck from some guys who had a rock quarry in Kansas and it’s not been mistreated but it ain’t been maintained either. It was their backup truck and seldom got used, which can be detrimental in itself. I was looking for an older long hood with a 36” sleeper and found this one. Wasn’t necessarily looking for a dump truck but, what the hell. It’s an odd duck for my area, as dump trucks are common but long hood dump trucks with a bunk are unheard of. It’s growing on me. Think I’ll leave it for a while but I do got a 5th wheel, if I change my mind.
Bean Jr., Flint1, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
Here’s a pic. You can see there’s not much left of the hot wire going from the solenoid, to the relay/fuse. I’ve got wire nuts on a pair of the browns and blacks. The other pair have what’s left of an eyelet(blue), that went to the fuse/relay. A pair of brown and black go into the firewall and a pair go into a harness.

I got nothing.
Did they pull a dump trailer with that truck? The only thing I can think of is that it was added wiring for trailer tailgate or something.
@wore out probably has a better idea. -

Oxbow Thanks this.

Wore Out and Oxbow, thank you sirs. I pulled all that crap outta there. If and when I put an electric tarp on it, I’ll make it much more simple than that.
