Got all the outside lights working, but still no dash lights or voltage meter working. Jake brakes are also not working.

Wouldn't affect the voltage meter, but you might check the dimmer switch for dash light problems. I ended up just taking it out of one of ours.

Pamela1990 and mile marker 27 Thank this.

My dimmer switch is built into my turning signal. Don’t know if they replaced this or if they were originally located there or in the floor?

    Pamela1990 Thanks this.

Your dash light dimmer. Probably beside the wiper switch.

I’ve turned it with no results from the beginning. I’ll get in behind it tomorrow. Thanks.

Connection at the fuse was weak. Lights are good now.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Now I’m on to the jake brake. There’s a small black plastic box screwed onto the rear of the pump, with two spade terminals. Neither wire is hot, with key on or off.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Power goes into on off switch at dash, out of it to clutch switch out of it into the back of pump then out of the back of pump to the Jake terminals.

I still think on volt gauge problem you have a ignition accessory circuit issue. Since the gauge and Jake are both on the blink. Mine are on same circuit.

in the fuse box on the right side row toward the top like maybe 2nd or 3rd. Make sure you have power in and out

power comes from back of key switch

Last Call, Oxbow and mile marker 27 Thank this.
