So the screw hole farthest away from the block does torque rise? Also I couldn't fit a 3/8" socket, 1/4 drive threw the opening to get the screw that was still in there. It's like the opening tapered down

I have never had the issue of the socket not fitting, it's only going to fit on one side or the other, and it has to be a thinner style socket, almost like a cheap socket. No the diaphragm is not hard to replace, just take everything apart and put it all back the same. Come to Texas and I will do it
seth Pivarnik Thanks this. -
Yeah it fits on the side where the Allen screw is already pulled but not on the one that's still in there. I'll see if I can't find a thinner walled socked. Okay sounds good I plan on getting it done this week. Thanks for the offer, wish I could make it out there but only running regional with the truck til I get this issue straightened out.

Okay I'm replacing the diaphragm as we speak and thank you it had a half inch tear in it but when I pulled mine apart there where no orings in there. I got 2 when I with I bought the new diaphragm. Should I just put it back with the new diaphragm and not the new orings since there wernt any in there? Thanks for your help

They are not In the housing that came off, look where it mounts to the pump and the orings are there.

So I just put it all together with the new diaphragm and took it out for a run Bob tailing made 14 lbs Bobtailing so hopefully it will be higher with so weight on it. But it boost up to 14lbs then just stops. But I'm heading out on a run tonight so we'll see how she does

I just pulled the springs out of the housing anjust let the housing kind of hang on there
-
Did you make sure the plunger was holding suction before you put it back on? Also need to make sure the stem was hooked on the pump internally as well.
