Eh, when you run a truck everyday there is always something to be fixed or maintained. It's double work for you right now because truck is new to you. Once you run it for a couple years you'll know all the little tricks. Every truck is different. Which is why the industry is so tough when guys wanna slash freight rates. Those are usually the guys who don't maintain the equipment and realize how much work goes in to running a trucking company. But there's plenty of threads on here about that bs. Good luck man. Have a nice holiday

Yeah whatever free time I get im always trying something to it to make it better and more reliable. Yeah even more so now with fuel getting cheaper. Had brokers tell me last week that fuels dropping so I shouldn't have to charge so much. But like you said plenty of talk on that. Happy holidays to ya as well and again thanks for your help and knowledge

Well its not fixed still had the problem. This week now about 2 he's ago truck pretty much looses all power like it ran out of fuel. It actually cut off like it ran out of fuel but didn't, while I was trying to get over to the shoulder. And now when I try to start its taking a good 5-10 secs of cranking and it barely idles. So wrecker is 3 hrs wait time because of other accidents so any ideas while I wait......happy new years

If your positive you have fuel in the filter. Take the fuel shut off solenoid, off the pump and see if it will fire up.

I mean I got fuel in the tanks so just assuming its got fuel. It runs just like it seems its on 3 cylinders. Should I still check the fuel shut off solenoid? And if I pull it out and it runs right how do I shut the truck back off

Push a screwdriver roughly the same size in the hole. Or put solenoid back in hole.
If that does the trick, stuff a rag in the hole. And ride

I'll give it a shot. The primary filter had fuel. Started checking the secondary and she blew fuel all over the place so I guess its good. Thank you
