bought the cover and gasket and did hand primer mod/delete as well as ported the hole larger and smoothed out the fin that was in the same passage now there is better flow.

thanks semi crazy for the pdf file.

truck starts up and runs with no issues, i want to get motor field timed and then maybe invest in some k&n washable filters and maybe one of them fuel preparators as well.

quick question will deleting the primer pump have any affects on cold starts being that the primer pump has been pulled off, will this keep pressure from holding in the system?

i went out to turn truck on this morning and it turned on as if, it had no fuel in system then i depressed accelerator pedal once and she fired right up, would the deletion of the primer pump cause to have to prime fuel system by giving it gas before turning truck on like if it was an old school carbed engine?

NO! is not like a carburator that has a bowl ful of gas and when you stepped on the pedal it will inject fuel.

the injectors will inject when the motor turns wether you step on pedal or not. carbed motor should do the same but sometimes needs a little more, hence the pedal.
