3406e cold start misfire...

crank is cracking and about to brake im sorry. Has the engine ever been damaged in a wreck of any kind?


by now its probably showed its self.

 

My Cat would always spit and shutter and smoke like crazy until it got warm. All colors smoke.It was a 92 425C with mechanical style ecm mounted fuel pump. I was always told don’t worry probably an injector cup leaking. When bad enough it will be hard to crank due to all the fuel on top of cylinder. I ran it years like that. The colder the start the worse it was. Once warmed up no problem.

 

I’m having that issue now. Gotta run cetane booster additive to help out.
