    Well it didn't make much sense to me to start with. He said he parked it because trucking was bad. Then he decided to put it back on the road when it was worse.

    Man, do you have a shop test ECM laying around or something? That's a pretty penny to be putting into a truck then quitting on it.

    I always hate not being able to figure something out finally. Glad the vast majority of my shop work is on my own trucks and equipment, so it may take a while but eventually it all gets ironed out!

    The o-ring on the tip of the injectors is meant to burn off. The o-ring burns off and is replaced by a carbon dam basically

    It was actually the middle o-ring. Not the tip.

    I did try a ECM but it did not change anything.

    If the middle o-ring is broke or eroded away wouldn't it be leaking a ton of fuel into the cylinder?

    Yes I am quite sure that is what the issue was but he decided not to go any further with it.
