Most Petes of that vintage and some newer, have a problem where water gets in through the front of the cab during a rain storm. Usually it comes in where either the air horns, visor, or lights, attach to the roof, or where the roof cap itself attaches to the cab frame. Not an easy thing to track down, or fix.
