Follow the wiring harness out of the turn signal....It's the yellow wire, it should be stuffed somewhere under the dash or behind the dash gauge panel....What year is your 362?....

Rgr that....The 362 I used to drive in the avatar had a Cat, dbl bunk, A/R, w/13 over, was a nice truck....I've got an '86 362 now w/a 315 cummins, 9 spd, spring ride....Tough gettin parts now for them...I just had the shifter totally rebuilt, took it to a machine shop where they basically built a new one...The slop was getting so bad, I couldn't grab rev.....
-
My plan is to add air ride soon. Your right spring ride little rough. Have you replaced your front springs yet? My rears are 433 little low. Want too go 365 gears. Old cat should be able to pull and run better. 4 miles at best is getting expensive. Might just be my foot lol.
-
No, front end's still pretty tight, just over 900k....433's are low, what size rubber you running, 22's or 24's......24's will give you a little more top end....What does it have for gearing?.. Keep those two grease fittings on the shifter linkage greased, they're real easy to overlook...
-
Running 24". Found me a 377 parts truck. Gonna rebuild rearends and everything. Then remove old frame and rearends . Them drill me new frame holes. Will be stretched out to either 265 or 275. With no frame splices. Thanks for info on grease fitting. Only found one on lower linkage. Plus the u joints.
-
Rgr that, sounds like a plan....One grease fitting is on the shifter box, bolted directly under the dog house, the other one is on the underside (hidden) of the horizontal linkage bolted to the frame rail....Machine shop did a good job rebuilding the linkage, tightened it right up and I re-bushed the mounting bracket, put it all back today....You find the flasher relay ok?...Let me know how you make out adding the A/R, sounds good.....My problem is, I just don't have the time right now to do what I really want too....
-
Thanks found it easy stuff thanks. Was up under dash behind tack. The rearends are work in progress. I know of a few 362s in the weeds. If you need a special part. Let me know . Guy just wants beer money lol. I live down in Pensacola fl.
