Nope not mixing that up. I have the original ‘85 bc4 lo flow cooling formula 350 out of my FL coe. 2 spin-on’s on the cooler. The same numbers you’ve stated. Its out on a stand sitting up on the rear frame of it. When I get home I’ll take a pic of it if you want.
I’ve personally never seen any other big cam but the 4 with 2 filters but anything and everything was possible in those constently experimenting days of Cummins.

Same thing that always has been ruining the diesel engine, emissions regulations. Low flow has ability for greater coolant temp drop in aftercooler and radiator, so gave cooler intake air temps. Cat answer was a charge air cooler.

Cummins even experimented with an watercooled after cooler on the early mechanical N14’s. There is a rather large Texas based grocery store chain in San Antonio that happens to be down the rd from the Cummins shop in San Antonio on IH 35 (hint hint to any refer puller thats been around here) that ran a dozen or more in some White/Gmc/Volvos in the early 90’s. It looked similar to the Bc4 aftercooler but was not low flow. Those were not CAC. A few of these engines are still around in some local classic toy trucks.

The low flo out of my ‘85 FL coe was running great up till 2009. Pump is set up pretty good on it. A stupid plastic piston oil cooler nozzle on #5 broke and the guy my uncle trusted to drive it didn't catch it in time with it loaded with skids of turfgrass one day. Burnt that cylinder down. He said water temp gauge never came up but oil temp did before he caught it. No major cooling problems with it in that 25 years.
