I was hoping someone could give me the correct 134a capacity for these trucks. I've looked through the manuals for them but it doesn't list the correct amount and the original stickers under the hood have peeled off. They all use sanden compressors.

    1993 60" sleeper
    1998 daycab
    2000 48" sleeper
    2001 48" sleeper
    2004 daycab

We also have a 2006 and 2007 daycab which have the stickers intact and they need 2.5lbs. I'm guessing the other daycabs would be similar?

Call the dealer, if not start with 2 lbs and watch the gauges.

Medium warm day... 80° or so… shoot for 175 on the high side. A cooler day in the 70's... about 150.

Engine fan on constant, AC on high fan/recirculate.

A hand on the outlet pipe of the evaporator will get it pretty close too. The exact instant you feel the pipe go from cool to very cold, you have enough.
