One simple toll free call will outline the corrective procedure on your low air leaf bouncing problem.
Mid America Peterbilt 888-900-1654 ask for service. They have the answer.

I have been living with that kind of bouncing since I bought my truck 6 years ago. Lots of money spent but the bouncing still there. I followed bender's advice and called the Mid America this morning and they could not tell me anything new. A guy I spoke with recomended to use a vibration analyzer to pinpoint a source of vibration.

Sorry to hear you were unsuccessful. Try calling after midnight and talk to Steve, he'll tell you the specifics of the repair.

hey guys still no luck with mine either just dumped a bunch more money into it put all new tires and front spring bushings didnt do a darn thing to help. infact was bobtailing home on a kinda rough road and sometimes it seriously felt like the cab was bouncing off the frame! then it would ride smooth for a bit then do it again. although lately it has seamed to be more in the front end but nothing looks bad! let me know if anyone has figured theres out thanks.

It sounds like you have some slack in the 5th wheel latch, set trailer brakes rock truck back and forth easy, if you feel it bumping have someone watch the 5th wheel to see where the slack is.

thanks for the help turbo55 but is is not the 5th wheel cause it does the same exact bounce when bobtailing even worse it almost seems like its in the front end but dont know if its in the rear whick is causing the front to bounce. its driving me nuts!

I have an 01 379 pete with low air leaf, bounced terrible loaded. I adjusted the leveling valve loaded to raise susp a little, and it really helped the bouncing alot.
