    IS THERE ANY REASON TO BELIEVE THE SIDE PANELS OFF A 1998 379 WOULD NOT FIT A 1989?

    The 98 is going to be a unibuilt, the 89 is not. If the panels you are talking about go around the back of the cab they will not interchange because the sleeper cutout is a different size.
