Hey yall, so I am contemplating getting a 386, I really want to change the stacks from the back to the sides. Not really seeing any y pipes and piping needed for the stacks going on the side. Any suggestions?

Find a truck that has the setup you're looking for. Write down the last 8 of his VIN and call the dealer parts dept and tell them what you're trying to do.

That would work, never thought of that. I mean its not a crazy idea right. I'm coming from a 379 and having no stacks on the side just feels weird to me.

I had two 386 with stacks on the side. We ordered them that way. Here, I'll save you the trouble of finding one...use this VIN: 8D765086
That's a 2008 with the setup you're looking for. If you have a truck that is '12 or newer it may not work for you since the VIN I gave you had only DPF and not DEF system also.
