I would of changed the a/c filters myself.... forget paying somebody A min of $25 to change them......
If you think that was raped on labor then you better start working on it yourself. Labor I'm used to runs $80 to $85 an hour. even if they charged you an extra hour it's about the same. Have your fluids done, do the rest yourself. And shop around. As an example we always ran petes with the dual vortec air filters. If you went to peterbilt for them thy were like $80 each (don't hold me to that it's been yers since I bought one) but I found out that freightliner sells the exact same filter for half the price you just need to take a punch and hammer and punch a small hole in the bottom of the filter for the threaded rod to run through that the vortecs have but the freightliners don't
The shop I use only charges $60.00 an hour, They do good work and treat me real well,.. $85.00 to $100.00 and up. You's just put a smile on my face that will be there all day. Thank You!!!!
Gaz.... I paid $289 for the same service at the T/A in Commerce City, CO a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't have gotten it there but, I was already over on my service.
My bad, I thought you would've known I meant cabin filter since there really isn't another a/c filter except for an orifice tube. They sold filters to us at cost.
