I sadly miss my W900L and studio. Sold it to be a shop foreman at a trucking company. Only to find out I hate steering wheel holders worse than I did 20 years past as a service manager for KW dealer.
I bought a Star car. While a great truck I bought a 5700. I kick myself in the ### everyday for not buying another W900L
With a studio. Yes a truck is a tool. But it’s also your home away from home. Buy what you like

When I bought my 379, I was originally looking for a w900 with studio. I looked everywhere. All I found where pos trucks that they were wanting top dollar for.

when I first started looking for a truck I had two things, it had to be a Pete (359) and it had to have a cat....

I ended up with a w900 and an n14, but it actually worked out in my favor, one owner/driver for 21 years specd right

the only thing I hate is the 8 bag rears

Yeah, I don't like the 8 bag setup. They are hell on bushings. I had a 359. I think they are the best looking truck out there. It sure is nice to be able to stand-up in my 379 though.

389 is a fine truck. There are no cons to having it as a first truck. Take one out and make sure you like it. Hoods hold there value longer and sell for more on the secondary market.

Make sure you can financially cover yourself (for any truck). You are the one buying it, driving it and living in it. Personally, I would take a look at a W9 and a 389. Whichever I liked better would become my tool, my truck, and my home away from home.

Same. Pull off the cab, and it's just like any other truck. Oh look, a frame, 40k rears, Eaton, Cummins/Cat/Detroit....you get the drift.

You'd hate to hear how what we think about people that drive aero trucks, lol. Point being, what you said just means you're a hater. Prejudging people just because they drive a hood. That's no way to be, brother. I'd love to have a long nosed Pete, and I'm the second worst trucker on this site.

I like the color of the W900 avatar with your profile. If that is your truck, did you paint it after purchasing?
