Anyone running one? The heater is hit or miss, I don’t use it much in the southeast but the nights that have got cold, it seems like it’s either sweating me out or not working at all. Is there something I’m missing or doing wrong? My old TriPac seemed simpler and more consistent. IMG_1533.jpeg

I only had Tri-Pac APUs. None of them had a heater worth using. All of my APU-equipped trucks, but one, had a diesel fueled auxiliary heater. I believe they were all Webasto brand. Those provided enough heat to cook a pot roast if needed.

Trashtrucker, is this a Webasto furnace under the bunk on the driver's side? Should be one vent for heat, left side and low.

If so, as stated above, they put out lots of heat but they do occasionally need cleaning.

I’ll have to look in to it later, it is a brand new unit on a new truck. It did the job last night but it’s either one extreme or the other, not working or baking you. I’ll see if I can pull the bunk up and snap a pic.

That’s all that’s there to the best of my knowledge, spoke to thermo king today and they say it’s a programming issue, simple enough fix hopefully.
