Reckon the damage and have the shop deal with it. Hate to say it. There is one part of the USA in Mississippi that I consider pretty dangerous for that kind of problem, however they line the interstate with blood red reflectors to scare them off. -
I would be more worried about drivers in front of me swerving to miss them and causing a mess in front of me
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I loved the night shift a whole lot less traffic less managers to deal with. The only thing I didnt like was if I had something to do in the day time I would feel sick while the sun was out but after it went away I would feel great again

I'd get there by like about 5am and take a nap
I'd wake up at 8:30 wondering what the constant banging on my door and yelling is aboutLoSt_AgAiN Thanks this. -
Then had one tried to miss. It hit the side of my truck.
I do wonder if putting more lights on the side of the truck and trailer would help?
Or maybe a pair of headlights in front of both tandems? With a separate switch?
They haven't figured out a truck hasn't passed when the headlights have passed.
I hate hitting anything. -
Tips for Hitting the Road at Night
Check your lights regularly. Making sure that your headlights and all of your running lights are working properly, and that all the lenses are clean and in good condition without any cracks or discolouration is important for every trucker. Those choosing to drive at night will want to ensure everything is in good working order because you’ll be relying on your lights to see and a burnt out running light is far more noticeable to police and DOT at night.
Clean Windshield is essential. Keeping your windshield clean (inside and out) will help reduce light flares, halos and starburst distortion from any light source.
Don’t blind other drivers with your high beams. If you see headlights or taillights in the distance, be courteous and turn off your high beams.
Drive Defensively. Watch out for intoxicated drivers who tend to be out on the roadways later after a night of partying. If you see someone swerving or driving erratically, keep your distance and call 911 to report the driver so that everyone can stay safe on the roads.
