    Good luck finding the weekends off and home every night job in trucking as a newbie. Especially one with a livable income.
    Greeter at Walmart may be a better choice till your kids grow up.

    Landstar doesn't do that. I'll buy you a truck if you want to come to Landstar, but Landstar themselves does not own even one tractor.

    I spot trailers 10p to 10am , nice easy gig , il take double time Sundays when the pot roast gang won't work it.
    Pot Roast Gang is 2 drivers always fiddling with crock pot in breakroom.

    Also, vacuum trucks that service grease traps have to be finished before the restaurants open, which is usually 10:30 or 11:00 AM, so they usually start between 2:00 and 5:00 AM.

    Not sure of your age or level of physical fitness. Many local food service and beverage delivery jobs are M-F. Some beverage companies offer to train you to get your CDL. Good luck
