Doesn't saddle Creek have a building out that way? I know they hire people with less than perfect driving records. I'm gonna go ahead and say it's not a forever job but it might get you back out on the road.

 

Probably not actually. I've sat in the office with a girl that does the employment verification for trans am and it consisted of asking it this guy was a driver from date x to date y then thank you and hung up. Heard her make a ton of those calls, they just verify that you worked there not really any details. Most employment verification phone numbers within a company have no idea about anything other than hired on a certain date and quit/fired in a certain date.

 

Find a new job and dump that warehouse job. We gave you some leads to try.

 

Safety might do a background check afterwards. Knight/Swift doesn’t report to DAC anymore and my DAC, MVR, PSP are clean; but my new employer was still able to get the info of my screw ups at Swift somehow. I think I did more damage than OP; but, hey, I was still able to get hired on.

 

Your parents are being a little selfish. Chances are you will out live them and when they are gone you need to have developed skills for living on your own. Ability to hold down decent employment, money management skills, decision making, stuff that requires discipline that takes time to learn. When they are gone its going to be all on you.

How many years of sriving experience do you have? Any driving?

 

doesn't matter to your company, they were classified as accidents, due to the costs involved. these will stay on your permanent employment file at that company.

anyone calling for a reference will be told about them.

if anyone cared, they will also be on your DAC for a period of 7 years.

even though they are not DMV recordable accidents, they are still held against you.

do as i suggested, and go back to CDL school for a refresher if you really want to get back in, or just seek employment in another venue.

Sorry to say this but maybe you always lacked motivation to be a better driver.

It isn't an issue of keep trying, it is an issue of knowing when to give up.




See as much as I don't like to see failure, I hate even more a lack of understanding that some things are best not pursued. In school I thought I would like to be a brain surgeon but I lack the hand eye coordination needed to be one so I went to school to get my engineering degrees.

It isn't the issue of keep trying, it is the issue knowing that you cant do everything and know when to give up trying to move forward. Many times people dwell on the failures and refuse to learn from the experience.

You damaged a couple trailers, to me it is seriously because there is a lot more to it than a simple repair so others who act like this is trivial because they never see it. You like them don't pay for the repairs and like the light incident, there is a cost to it you will never understand from downtime to possible other damage that you can't see.

 

But if ya do get back on the road,you have to use the cool C.B. handle "PINBALL"...... ........
