4 way / hazard lights

    Having an excuse in your mind does not make using your 4-ways legal. If the state laws says use of 4-ways is only for emergency use, then they mean only for emergencies. I think that is California's rule. Climbing a hill slowly is not an emergency and how trucks behave in PA is not relevant to CA. Trading rules-of-thumb or "how my trainer taught me" is NOT posting the law. The law is what is enforced and states have slight variations in their lawas and some built-in exceptions for certain circumstances.

    The idiots driving around with their flashers in the rain should lose their license. It's definitely illegal in TN use flashers for something like speeding or driving in the rain. "My wife's having a baby so we will drive at 100 mph, but with our flashers blinking because nothing moves traffic out of our way like some tiny blinking light on the corner of you vehicle."

    Florida recently made it legal to drive with hazards on. I was against that idea.

    If someone doesn't see an oversize going down the road, without you having to put your flashers on, then we have bigger issues.....
