40,000 Pound Payload + 5 Ton Bridge Weight Limit= A Fine Mess

You ever watch Married with Children? Al was a shoe salesman, and this woman comes in complaining about her shoes not holding up. Al says: "Ma'am, like an elevator, these shoes have a 2-ton weight limit."

 

I am going out on a limb here and guess the driver felt they couldnt back up or get turned around and thought "ef it, it will be fine"

 

You are right. I just looked at Google maps and they would have to back for miles... it also makes absolutely no sense why they were on that route either...
