2 things about such vague ads.....make sure there is no balloon payment at the end and that there's no bait and switch. It says that 2011-12 trucks are available but doesn't say that the $400 wk payment is pertaining to that year
if you carefully read the ad.
Im always suspicious of " lying by omission" and "Oh by the way" ads.
as usual Caveat Emptor.
Should we believe anything that's on Craigslist.
I wouldn't but that's for you to figure out.

Certainly is worth investigating. It might be a good deal - they do exist - or not. Go in with your eyes open and validate what you learn. Ask questions. Ask to see papers. Then decide.

 

Slip seat team trucks ran 100 miles/day from OKC to LA and back. That's 730000 in 2 years and Leeway, American Farm Lines and some other companies did it. AFL had automatic oilers and never changed the oil, some trucks probably ran all winter never shut off. YEP! I want a newer truck for Christmas.

 

And remember, the dollars they show is income to the company you now own of which you are an employee. It's not the same as the income a company driver has. You also have "tax"-related expenses they won't tell you about.

You were buying the truck, different scenario. Leasing is not buying, unless you are leasing to buy, and plan to keep it.
