4000 miles a week

Doesn't sound like a "home every night", dear.

 

I did that for a while, email companies and tell them how stupid they are. One guy said, " well, times are tough, and people need jobs" I replied, "It's a shame you are getting your drivers from people that are out of options". He never returned a reply.

 

*Up too* $1,500 a week. 4,000 miles. *about 37.5 cents per mile and clearly says paper logs. Still looks better on paper then USA Truck / CRST.
I'd still run..... Far.........Far Away...

It's always been my belief, if there's a job opening with descriptions like that, it's because someone else got po'ed and quit. The sad thing is, eventually, they'll get someone who doesn't know any better.

 

We run Midwest to south and southeast. I came pretty close to 4,000 several times when our trucks ran 68 with e logs. Like was said it takes a lot of things going your way to make it happen but it's possible. Probably not reliable to count on it weekly though. I leave Sunday night and get home Friday.
