Ive been telling folks 4k miles a week is possible on ELDs since the mandate... Toss the floor mat over the throttle and keep the left door shut. As long as the truck is capable of going 65+ mph its not that hard.

My truck will do 67 mph... I have traveled nearly 2000 miles in the last 3 days.

Did Oregon change? It was 55 on I-5 last time I was there. Albeit it's been a few years. In reality I have trouble making even that kind of mileage in a hot shot truck in the Lower 48 in the daylight. You inevitably get jammed up in traffic near some city. Now, if you have a route that just goes 750 miles without touching major cities (I-80 as long as the wind isn't blowing too hard) I can see it being done. Night running is a different story.

Not me. I have no interest in that kind of mileage.

I did 3,500 miles and 8 western states in a week about 3 months ago because I had 3 amazing loads that made it worth it, but my body and brain were fried for about 3 days after I got home. I won't be doing that again at (almost) any price. I could have squeezed 500 more miles out of the trip with my remaining hours, but I had no desire to.

And I thought my 67,000 miles this year was low. I now have a better target to shoot for.

Parts of Oregon still 55 I believe. The biggest problem is the terrain like the mountains and lots of grades out on the western 11. In the midwest Pretty sure a driver could get 4000 miles or close to it.

I drive a little under 300 miles per day.

    That seems like enough. Lol

And various urban areas are 55. Like most of the Detroit area and, last time I was there anyway, Indianapolis.
