Rear cam follower is pouring oil and tightening it didn't do much so its off with the starter and replace the gasket. Found the hissing snake but not sure how to fix it. I'll have to pull the driver side fender-ette(?) to get a better look at it and fix that.
$4000??????

My rear cam fallower is leaking too. and apparently my front cover now.

FYI = smearing RTV and JB weld all over it won't help. LOL Thats what was all over it when I got her.
I really am not having a bad time working on the N-14, its just the parts are so dern heavy compared to the jet-ski's I normally work on. I'm betting that starter is going to weight as much as the whole darn ski motor. -
mine doesn't leak that bad. I can wait till I get home and degrease it and i'm good for a few more days.
The starter is very heavy. Tie it off with rope or something then take all but one bolt out then remove that one while someone holds that starter. it's over 50 pounds.
wait till you have to do a clutch -
But hey, thanks for the kind thoughts on it. LOL

don't worry, there is still rear ends

Gee's!!!!With friends like you ,who needs enema's or hemmeroids. LOL
Just got back from dealer with the build sheet for my truck. Accordingto this I have 3.55 gears. Calculating 3.55 gears, 22.5LP, 10th gear of .74 running 65mph shows 1399rpm's.
Thats seems perfect for the N-14 for best mpg's. Problem is that the tach shows about a hundred rpm's higher (1525rpm). Could the tach just be off? How could I test this? How could I recalibrate if needed? ThanksLast edited: May 18, 2009

But seriously folks. Why would CRST order the truck with no trolley brake?
How difficult would it be to add one?
