With all the rules and safety boards and everything else they have for 4-wheelers that they never follow, how are more safety rules on trucks going to help them?
    Let's see, we have:
HEADLIGHTS ON WHEN RAINING: yeah right...it's sometimes too much to expect them on when it's dark
HANDS FREE DEVICES ONLY: PMSLMMFFAO! I've seen mothers with their 'precious little babies' in the car drive diagonally across 3 lanes of traffic and never put down their phone.
    or
MERGE NOW: if only they would, instead of trying to beat that truck to the construction zone only to find that traffic is moving slower than the truck they just cut off.

Or, how many times have you been cut off by some Richard pulling out of a parking lot just so he could be in front of you (the only other vehicle on the road) when they make their right hand turn one block down the road?

Most car drivers are st00pid and it's only getting worse. Of course, the 'average' truck driver is no paragon of intellect these days, either.

    Bakerman Thanks this.

If it's loaded properly the vehicle that hit it will be totaled. Low boy will suffer tire losses at least on the rear most axle. It will be a very violent problem for the vehicle that hit it. Possibly enough metal to fail on the axle area possibly and assist in chopping car up. You want car to be old American Iron with maybe a Mark IV 20 foot hood and a big 500 to soak the hit before it gets to the driver. If it is one of today's little cars like the Fit which can fit inside my freaking Tahoe almost (Back seat is gone, used as cargo) will kill anyone in it. I never tried a fit yet maybe one day I'll swing by the dealer and see whats what. You would think at ADESA I would have a chance to get into and drive a thousand of them. But remembering previous small cars(One in particular was a REAL problem. A little spyder porsche from the early 60's I imagine it was. My back almost failed on that one. We had to go find a shortie in our crew and we had a dwarf get into it. (Im not Politically correct and the situation is as described to solve a problem, not a attack or insult at all.)

Some lowboys had configured for small ramps on the back possibly also angled down behind rearmost axle. It will probably try to launch the vehicle. Hopefully whatever you got on back there is bigger than your cab up front of your neck assembly. Hopefully a nice fat D9 (One of my favorites as far as heavy equipment goes other than the 4 wheel CAT 936 loader which I have half a years experience in)
