45 MPH with flashers on?

    I agree, save your four way flashers for an emergency situation, if everyone starts using them on the highways, soon people won't pay attention to them. Kinda like car alarms going off in a mall parking lot, happens so often that no-one even bothers to look to see if someone is in trouble or is causing trouble. My opinion if you're going to make a point by driving slow, is to do just that, you know most of you travel at 60+, so back it down and set the cruise on 50-52mph. You'll still make a point, you'll save a lot in fuel consumption, you likely won't impede traffic and you won't condition people to ignore your four way flashers. By the way, I have personally backed my truck down to 57mph in an effort to conserve fuel. I usually run 63mph, at the end of the day it costs me barely a few minutes more and honestly, is a pretty relaxing stress-free day of driving. I haven't been doing it long enough to see just how much I'm saving in fuel, but I am watching it.
