I’m not trying to be an antagonist, but I disagree with you. Unless you’re driving through small towns on two lane highways or are governed extremely slow, isn’t it unlikely that a 1,200 mile run necessitate three days? Interstate driving, that trip is easily done in less than two full 11 hour clocks. I am on E logs. If you are smart about when you pass through high traffic areas, then it is possible to maximize your driving clock.
4510 miles in a single week on ELOGS??

On a different but related note, have any of you had an officer question how many miles you are running while being inspected and on Electronic logs? The last time I was inspected all he asked is if I was on the E logs. He did not even look. However, I know that sometimes they look at certain things. Just curious if anyone has been questioed about that particular aspect yet.

I don't like to run I walk.

65 with triples through Montana, Utah and Wayoming, yeah right...
Next thing we know " guys who's hiring with overturned accident..." -
Perhaps you didn't see the word "potentially." The only reason I said potentially three days, is because there are some factors. If you're already in or near the city that youre picking up in then yes. If you have to deadhead a little to get the load, then you'll most likely have a third day. 1200 miles ain't but 600 a day. That's totally doable in 2 days. I'm never going to plan a trip at 75 mph because it's difficult to keep that rate of speed through out the day.

Guys. That's 650 miles per day. I did that in a 62 mph truck. Granted, I didn't do that everyday. But I could have for a week, if the money was right.

Maybe he zips from Reno to Salt Lake City? 1036 miles for 15 hours driving sounds like a fun job.

3500 miles a week on elogs is a cake walk... My truck is limited to 67 mph. The following 2 pics are of 2 pay settlements, I have cropped off the pay info but dates, places, and miles (both loaded and empty) are there for anyone to scrutinize.
These are the kind of runs I make every week, very very rarely do I run less than 3500 miles a run, and if I do I make it back home in about 5 days.
Yes the one is very old but these are the only 2 I have pics of handy.
Edit: No these are not all drop and hooks, the only drop and hooks are in Lima, OH and Lawrenceburg, KY. -
Oh ok....yeah it's a cake walk if you travel all 48. If concentrated to the eastern half, that may not be as consistent. My company runs the Eastern half, east I-35. I can hit 3000 miles, every blue moon I'll get past that.Cattleman84 Thanks this.

It's totally possible. I've done it. Booneville, AR - Smyrna, DE is 1200. The load was supposed to pick up Friday, and if anyone has been to that shipper in Boonville( I can't think of the name, but they do mainly Walmart loads) you know that's a ten hr break. They take that long to load every time. I slept there and started bright and early Saturday, and repeated the process Sunday. As long as I'm starting there or near there I'm good for two days.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
