460hp any good

    How do you explain that? Smaller engine spends more time at lowest specific fuel consumption, bigger engine is just pumping useless air through it and wasting fuel. Of course if driver is revving smaller engine all the time trying to get more power out of it, which he don't get, then it might use more fuel but that's just drivers fault not engines.

    by our standards it is best to have 10-11hp per ton

    this will be 400-440hp for 88200lbs

    anything below you will gain low fuel economy with more you will also have bad economy especially if you have hurry driver.....
