    Sitting here idling because its just too hot for me.
    I always wondered how awful it was in those trucks without AC.

    You fellas are 10X the man I'll ever be.

    I gotcha.
    I grew up in Iowa in the 70s.
    I never knew air conditioning until I went to reform school.
    I guess I lived through it.

    My first load January 1982 had a load of powdered soap going to Red Owl Minneapolis.
    Got pulled over on Highway 10 in Stevens Point Wi ,.for going to S L O W
    scared to death , I still chuckle about it.

    That's back when you had 2 licenses a operator for your car and a chauffeur for the truck , you could still drive a truck if you lost your car license , or vise versa.

    I grew up in Cali not needing a/c (Bay Area). I was in my 40s before I had a car with a working a/c and it was a few years after that before I lived in a house with a/c and that includes 8 yrs living near Sacramento. If you never have it you learn to make do.

    I hear 'ya, but there's something about 65% RH at a 74* dew point that makes life less than perfect.
