They don't all make them. Most of these guys are refering to the sliding axle on a step OVER 48' long I believe. The slider on those is a rear axle slider. Not very many make a 48' step with a sliding axle, especially a front slider. You'll have your work cut-out for you

Sure they do, it's just a custom order. The only place you might find a new one on a dealer lot is near or north of the border.
