My locks are always in my way. I have yet to haul a container.

Container locks get in the way of what? I was under the impression the dropped down into the floor like my pocket chains?

They do, some manufacturers do some stupid stuff around them, like eliminate a rubrail section on older Fontaines.

What size bales are these? We haul 3x3x8 on the top deck by putting 6 lengthways and 3 sideways..uses 11' of top deck.

3x4x8 and 4x4x8 same idea except uses 12' of deck space so hang over the front just enough so you can still get the glad hands off/on.

I can't slide my winches where I want them. The sliding rail will stop, then there's the lock, then the slide continues. :biggrin_25516:

Container locks belong on a chassis

3x4x8 are about 7 1/2' long I have. Every guy that I loaded hung over the front a little and off the back of the top deck with a load leveler.

You state that you want to attach a beavertail thus building a 53' trailer. You need to thik about your kingpin setting cause now your dealing with a whole new set of regulation.

I was going to do that if I bought a 48' trailer but I found a 53' instead.
