    I have kinda been avoiding this topic, but here we go.

    The cost of this rebuild, including all parts and our labor @ $70 per hour, and including all the time to swap the cab to the new frame, rebuild the power divider, new hoses, brakes yada yada yada was $38,151.25. Of that, $10,947.20 was parts which included the out-of-frame kit from IPD ($3800).

    At best maybe its a $20K truck, but it is worth more than that to us. Charging ourselves labor can be contemplated a number of ways, but in our bookeeping that would be our billable rate so I think that is a fair way to categorize it.

    Anyway, good or bad, that's where we landed.

    For the attention to detail you have it that's a good price. Lots of places would be well over 40k these days
