Ive pulled cabs with straps through the window holes to an overhead lift.
Just pulled a sleeper yesterday with a tracked skidsteer with extensions on the forks. Just gotta block the forks to lift on the crossmembers/gussets of the sleeper. Lifted the sleeper in the air and pushed the truck out from under it. Cabs/sleepers are alot lighter then what they look like.
If you wait til the summer I can chuck my block cutter in the back seat of the mustang and cut the bores on the way through lol.High Stepper, JoeyJunk, Feedman and 4 others Thank this. -

Ok, liners are pulled.
There is some evidence of electrolosis on the outside of the liners, but not horrible considering we have no idea of the history. This was probably the worst liner.
My biggest concern on the lower bores is some erosion where the top o-ring rests in the bevel.
The bores themselves don't look bad to me. You can just feel where the o-rings rested on some, but not all.
mile marker 27, Last Call, JoeyJunk and 2 others Thank this. -
The deck has been counterbored before. Holes 2 through six all had one shim on, and the depth of the counterbore varied between .026 and .031(rough measurement using a micrometer). Hole #1 was deeper at .061, and that liner had two shims on it. I understand that that is a no no as you should be able to order single shims up to what you need.
