I live off of the Verrado exit and just between the 303 and to get to that ramp boils my blood.NavigatorWife, Bakerman, lovesthedrive and 1 other person Thank this. -
Unanswered in this story is why the sedan was stopped in the middle of a 2 lane highway with a posted speed limit of highway speeds? Better yet why didnt the truck go around? It isnt that hard to look off in the distance and see a stopped car and change lane or come to a stop on the edge of the highway to ask the 4 wheeler if they have a deathwish.
NavigatorWife and Gatordude Thank this. -
I didn't bring on squat , you better rethink your comments.
Sounds like a cop out , don't point the finger at me , i been out here 30 years , theres more aggressive 4 wheelers out here now and it sucks , can't even sit at a red light anymore without getting the horn from some a hole behind me.

I understand your point, but as a truck driver, driving the biggest vehicle allowed on public roads, it's the duty of the driver of that truck to be ready for ANY obstacle that comes up, including stopped cars. For a multitude of reasons, this no longer holds water, and I'm sorry, it was plenty busy in my heyday, and I never ran into anyone. This comes up time after time and we all dance around the real cause because we just can't live today without it,,, that G-d-daxxxx cell phone, and this is the price we pay for that convenience.Dave_in_AZ, mtoo, Magoo1968 and 2 others Thank this.

How many were already blaming the trucker for this accident? Isn't the speed limit 75mph in that area? An unfortunate situation to be caught up in.
Dave_in_AZ and Gatordude Thank this.
