Has any one used those inserts that go into strait pipes to muffle the exhaust on a truck I have a 98 ch dump truck. Its just way to loud But dont have enough room between the cab and bed to put mufflers and no room under cab for resonater. I found some inserts on Iowa 80 that fit into a five inch pipe. can any one tell me how well this will reduce the noise and how much it will affect my power and will it hurt the engine

I have 5" dual straights with inserts on two of my trucks. The inserts take alittle of the bark out of the exhaust but by no means makes it quiet

I got mine from 4-states. They're not real easy to install, they fit tight.
