Hopefully things are starting to ease up for some of you. My buyer/customer finally dipped their toes back in this week and bought a full load.

That truck felt mighty strange after not driving for 5 weeks.

    Yes
In my opinion it’s time we all get back to work and the politicians should stop making fear driven decisions that negatively effect so many people’s lives.
I have been one of the lucky ones that has been able to continue to work during this.
What a contrast I have seen state to state and auction to auction the way this has been handled.
One auction will be full on hazmat gear and total fear and another one will be business as usual like nothing is going on.
It’s hard to make sense of it all but in my opinion as a country I think we have largely over reacted.

Television networks and politicians have people convinced that if they stay locked up and social distance forever the virus will just go away. Influenza is still around even with vaccines so I can't imagine a vaccine will just end this epidemic. I'm optimistic that the smart people in this country will find a way to treat patients who contract it so it doesn't kill so many people.

Auto sales had a dim forecast before this, if half the 30m unemployed have their jobs back by year end i will be suprised. I imagine half the cars moving are rentals to auction. Air travel will take a long time to recover. What keeps me home is what little work there is i cant imagine anyone less than starving would accept the rates.

Jesus Christ, The rates were terrible before this and after the shutdown its just criminal the prices I see on Central. I use to run good loads from Daly City to the South with Enterprise. Are people still renting cars at least?

Times like these make me wish I went with the high mount instead of the stinger to give myself greater freight options.

    Good Luck.

With air traffic down 90% rentals companies are looking for storage space and dumping into auctions.
