Rubber snubbers are for securing the tire chains around the wheels. Making an X over the hub and giving you some extra peace of mind from the chains walking off the tire as you run.

We wouldn't use load straps for that. :)

We also had a small water feed to fridge but that got capped off. Plumber brazed a enormous cap on there that will be there long time. We were taking water at actual pressure back in those days, now it's regulated down quite a bit after the new line was installed to house.

The internet provides you a chance to get your real time video from your home to your phone streamed from wherever if a security system can support that type of broadcasting.

    Update:
Well, the switch from Schneider to a smaller company, running dedicated has been nothing short of fantastic!

We average 6400 miles a week. We're home at least a day per week. Just got bumped up to 50 cpm. Paychecks are everything we hoped for, but didn't expect for a couple of years. All in all we are so happy! My wife still loves the job. I'd love it too if I drove days. Driving nights aren't nearly as good, so I'd say I'm happy but don't actually love trucking...it's a good job.

Gonna start looking into owner op with own authority. Not for the money but for the "freedom". Probably gonna wait at least another year before making a move, if that's what we decide.
