It's a new account that US Xpress started around June. We got the Target account in the Dallas area around the same time. Haven't heard many good things about Target. The guys who do the Wal-Mart in Gas City seem to like it.

Good info so far. I would like to hear from someone that actually works on this Wal-Mart account, either in New Caney or Gas City. Here are just a few questions that I would like to see answered....

    Day cabs or sleeper cabs?
    Is slip-seating involved?
Pay: by mileage, stops, load, hourly etc?
Do you have to wait a lot either at the DC or at the store?
Is the pay what USX claims on their adds averaging 850-1000 /wk?

I know these are all questions for a recruiter, but I trust recruiters about as far as I could throw them.

Just got off the phone with the recruiter. "Pay: by mileage, stops, load, hourly etc?" I was told the pay is by the load. Do you have to wait a lot either at the DC or at the store? I was told it is drop and hook. About 1-3 loads a day 10-12 a week. Hope this helps.
