504 gateway time out

    To confirm what others have posted: Yes, we have maintenance and backup scripts running in the early AM EST. Due to the influx of new users and new posts, the forum has doubled in size over the past 1.5 years, which means that maintenance tasks take longer and are more server intensive. Basically, between 12am and 4am EST you can expect some rough surfing at the top of each hour.

    I'll see about moving the heavy stuff further back to a 3am-7am EST slot.

    I think you've missed the point Ron.

    If I understand RT's post correctly what he was saying is, it's a shame politics was even brought up in this thread, not so much the Redd was being bashed.
