Thanks to all for their feedback. No I haven't signed on yet.
Still doing my homework.
Even for a rookie, .50 to .54 per mile for crude transport seems very low doesn't it?
A dangerous job too.
Not sure that I want this oilfield job. -
j/k

Schneider is offering me .50 to .54 per mile to transfer crude. Is this very low pay in the oilfield?
-
that answer was given, 50cpm is very decent pay. I would of loved to see that, I started out at 25cpm and worked my way up, now I average about 46cpm and I stay within a 250 mile radius and home 2 nights a week so im happy with what I got.

up here in Canada 1-2 yrs exp u can make .46 mile. Also depends on what kind of miles you can do.
-
I know with me during the busier part of the season I am hitting 3k+ a week, during the slow time like right now im getting 2500 average. Soon I will be getting some Vegas stores and will be getting over 3k a week and still getting 1-2 days off a week.

50-60 cents a mile sounds great.
Good Luck.
