Welp I will dig into it this week and let you guys know! Thanks for all the ideas. I always just want to make sure I'm not missing anything and this place is my sounding board these days.

Here’s mine. It started leaking around the top hat looking thing. Whole suspension would lose air while sitting. Wouldn’t air up without beating on it. Once replaced, it stays put in the dock.

Thanks a bunch fellas! I will be back to update in a day or two.

I just went through this, on two trailers. One was the valve and the other was all the slack adjusters were seized and there was almost no contact of the shoes to drums (just had an annual 3mos ago!).
Once home, definitely revisit your slack adjusters and manually adjust them, when you’ve got time to look around at everything. If you can still push the trailer, then, you have air trapped in the system. If you have a bunch of air blow back up through your tractor valve on the firewall, when you set only the trailer brakes, it’s definitely the trailer valve.rollin coal and Kruse Family Farms Thank this. -

Well fellas do y'all have any other suggestions? I changed the spring brake control valve on the trailer. But it still does the same thing. It lets out a blast of air which partially engages the brakes and then it slowly lets air off from the red line which will come out of the firewall if the line is connected. Can still make the tires move with some resistance right now.

More updates. After about 10-20 mins the trailer is indeed unmovable. So it works as intended it just is really slow to drain off for some reason. I looked over all the lines for kinks or damage and found nothing. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Only thing I can think of is debris blocking a line. Tanks rust from the inside and the scaling can become dislodged and block lines. Beyond that, I’m not sure.
