379 is long gone from the Peterbilt lineup.

The 579 is a new design truck and looks pretty good. The 587 is a warmed over 387 which came from the KW T-2000 which has been around for over a decade.

I have talked to many TMC drivers some of them have been driving 379s and such for over 20 years and are now in 579s. All of them like it and more then one have said they would never drive a 379 otr again.

579 looks sharp. But if that bunk is standard issue Peterbilt, I can't stand up straight in it.

    I'd take a 680 first. If I was looking, which I'm not.
