Not sure how it makes a diff but make the power leads as short as possible..Best place for power is off the battery, less ele trical noise as you know but also came across something once to ground supply should be as close to ant as possible..

There one issue with these new plastic/fiberglass trucks with little metal to be grounded to like the older model trucks.

Thats why bonding is soooooo important in these trks..Only other thing to do is line the trucks inside with some sorta metal or metal like tape..

I've heard reynolds wrap works great. One for grounding of antenna, and secondly for keeping away brain waves from entering from the Aliens. LOL

Lol..Best way to test ant ground is with multi meter....Set your meter to ohms and 1 lead to battery and other to ant bracket..Should be zero ohms..
I dont have any funky stuff done to mine yet ither than 1 braded strap on my door hinge..Need to do more..

Maybe so but unless you own most will not tear apart the interior to wrap the trk in reflective and bond all the wrap then replace all the interior..

Here's a creative cheap idea. Ground plate to back of cab. Stainless steel sheet metal 1/8" thick would work.

Thanks, Rebbe. I’ll have to find out how long I’ll be in this tractor. If it’s a few months or more, it’ll be a good one on which to experiment.

Easy to fabricate brackets which utilize factory bolt holes.
