    Even better if plates on both sides connected and some braided straps to connect to cab wall....

    No word on how long this tractor. Probably need more than 90-days before that’s a viable question. So I’ll just borrow the little KL-203P amp and join it to the Uniden 880.

    An RS SWR meter shows no need to adjust whip on 5’ Wilson

    Am using an Astatic ceramic cartridge power mike I’ve had for a few years. Will take a few others to ask for audio quality reports (Stock, RK56, SRA198 and a 636)

    Have the rest of today to finish errands at home. I’ll take another look at where to tap power (it’s noisy).
