My truck was programmed all 6 injectors to 9850 can anyone tell me why. I cant find this trim file in your chart exaust temp was running hot at this got it set to proper numbers on injectors helped alot

hot trims are sometimes entered as a way of adding power. it stretched the pulse width and injection window in relation to crank position. Its completely wrong, but some people refuse to believe.
if you want more fuel, fit a bigger injector as opposed to stretching the pulse width. people that enter hot trims should have their hands crushed in a vice,starmac, benjamin260_6 and lester Thank this. -

No it should idle smooth enough to sit your coffee cup on the engine and not spill any. But most cat reman injectors won’t do that.
And the problem will be worse with hot trims that effectively max the pulse width modification for each injector.
injector 1 might flow 30% more with a hot trim, injector 2 might only flow 10% more with hot trims. Making your fuel quantity balance between cylinders miles offlittle cat 500 and swaan Thank this. -
Anyone know how I can get the number off the side of the solenoid without pulling the injector or jakes?
