5th wheel slide lengths

    I'm looking for a longer slide to replace the factory one on my freightliner century, mine is a 60 inch and i want to go up to about 100 inch, any idea of where i can find such a thing? Or if it has to or even can be fabricated

    Im sure a dealer can hook you up.
    Probably easy to find one at a scrap yard.
    They make them.
    No need for fabrication... except for the additional holes for mounting.

    In order to pull old trailers made for single axles, tandem set ups have to much frame length for the 5th wheel to clear the landing gear, we bought extra rail and slider track from the bone yard. Welded drilled and bolted as we needed. Doubled them up for a length that can pull anything. It is not a hard job.
